Little Rei of Sunshine

Rei loves to sing and hum melody. I love it when she goes off tune and blabber the lyrics with her cute little voice. Every time I ask her to sing a song, she would always sing the Vegetables Song. “peas….peas….time to eat your peas…..yes yes yes….i want to eat my peas……good good…peas are good for you…yay yay yay….i love them toooo”. She will also randomly sing Head shoulders knees and toes. hahahhah.

These few days she loves her two semi circles and one rectangle magnetic tiles. She loves to put the two semi circles together to form a circle. I guess that’s some authentic Math learning there! She got upset when the really tall tower that Yang built crumbled when she took a piece of tile out of it. Yang urged her to destroy the tower but she did not expect the fall.

Yesterday Rei received a toy from Uncle Javen. Her first ever Fisher Price’s product. It’s an alphabet tablet where you can press the buttons to listen and interact. We had lunch at a Japanese restaurant and Rei licked a plate clean. After that, we went to Citta Mall to look at furniture with Aunty Hsinnie. So happened there was a family day programme going on so Rei received her first animal balloon which was a dog. She bit the balloon later on and it burst. She didn’t cry. Rei also went to a small bouncy house but came out soon after. At the furniture shop, she loves the hanging wooden hammock chair. Yang bought a berries drink and after adding some water to the remaining, Rei finished the whole cup!

I made iron rich lentil pasta few days ago and freeze two extra batches for future lunches. So damn convenient to bulk prepare. Will definitely do this more often.

Rei could do shapes matching very well now. We didn’t know that until she managed to match shapes to it’s Shadow outline really well.
